I'm hooked on this series and hope to read many more. I don't know why no one thought up this angle before. Stories about lawyers who investigate and prosecute other lawyers. Terrific book.

Personal Injuries Lawyers Gone Bad Series Book 2 edition by Vincent L Scarsella Digital Fiction Professional Technical eBooks Reviews

..."be careful what you wish for"... or "you just might get it"

Dean Alessi, Lawyer Discipline Office Director and Chief Investigator Stu Foley are back in the second book of the Lawyers Gone Bad series. This time, they are after Larry and David Craig. The Craigs own the state's top Personal Injury law firm. It is regular firm practice to send clients to doctors for a bad surgeries the clients do not need — in order to "increase the value of their cases" ...

Tom Grodin of Craig and Craig goes to see Dean and Stu, admitting that one of his clients died on the operation table during one of these botched surgeries. The next day he committed suicide — or was he murdered?

Meanwhile, State Supreme Court Chief Justice Krane is using the Craig brothers. He needs their political connections and influence to help get himself appointed to the vacant seat on the US Supreme Court. The CJ orders no further investigations on the brothers. Dean and Stu decide to secretly investigate Grodin's claims and his suicide...

Multiple errors made reading this book distracting sentences missing words, typos and formatting errors. The first book in the series was the same (I read this book to see if there was any improvement in the editing — unfortunately there was not). I will not be reading the third book (Winning is Everything) — or any other books by Mr. Scarsella.
I have rarely enjoyed a book more than this one, and I look forward to the next in this series.
Well, I'm shocked -- shocked! that there are personal injury lawyers who improperly build cases. More shocking yet there are doctors who help them!! This investigation of a single law firm could apply to the whole personal injury industry.

This and the first book are well developed stories that would be more believable if they weren't so wide-eyed -- as if the legal profession isn't rife with people taking shortcuts, manipulating information and colluding with one another.

What is accurate, though, is the degree to which the legal profession has protected itself from scrutiny. New York is typical in restricting any public information about attorney discipline, and allowing incriminating information to become public and available for prosecution is considered a violation of the ironically termed "lawyers' ethics." In this case, the Chief Justice of the state supreme court has suppressed evidence of lawyers who are responsible for multiple murders. And the guy who can fix it would, at the very least, lose his law license if he tried to do so.

Such is the state of justice when it involves lawyers.
A great follow up to the first book in the series. A good plot that makes the pages fly by.
Good book. Plausible story. Would recommend. Easy read. Author' style makes it a yuck read.
Be careful what you wish for...bad to the bone lawyers getting into trouble!
The author knows about lawyers and what they do. This story is written
well and it is very smooth and fun to read.
Could be a best seller soon!
A real legal thriller. Didn't think anything could surpass Book 1, but I think this one did! Although this was fiction, it really makes you wonder about some of the large firms, since I worked in insurance all my life.
I'm hooked on this series and hope to read many more. I don't know why no one thought up this angle before. Stories about lawyers who investigate and prosecute other lawyers. Terrific book.
